Yesterday in LA, Black Eyed Peas princess Fergie dressed down in her most fashionable apron to serve up lunch at Project Angel Food—a citywide program that delivers meals to people living with HIV/AIDS. With a new album and a new movie coming out, CGG is impressed the Duchess is able to tackle world issues too!
Fergie's lunch lady gig was part of her work as the spokesperson for MAC cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign, a position she has held for the past year. Viva Glam has helped raise more than $100 million worldwide for HIV/AIDS. The campaign gets money from the lip gloss Fergie helped design.
As the MAC Viva Glam Spokesperson, Fergie gets to campaign for lip gloss and social change. After lunch, she headed out to a red carpet event for MAC cosmetics.
Fergie says, "As a musician, I'm able to reach a wider audience about issues close to my heart, and through the VIVA GLAM campaign, I've been able to get this message across to youth around the world. I'm so gratified that my lip gloss has raised funds to help prevent youth across the globe from contracting HIV."
