Super bowl, shmuper bowl - The Pittsburgh Steelers’ Troy Polamalu is heading up a new year of the Twitchange auction, this time benefit troops (all the while preparing for the big game)!

Twitchange is an auction that allows participants to compete for a chance to interact with their favorite celebs on Twitter. Celebs including Kim Kardashian, Shaquille O'Neal, Alyssa Milano, and Troy himself will be using their tweets for good because donations go Once In A Lifetime, a foundation that supports military families by answering special requests and urgent needs that they have.

“I wanted to support US Soldiers publicly though because society sometimes forget the huge impact they've made. These people make the ultimate sacrifice for us to enjoy our daily freedoms,” says Troy.

Voting continues all week long. Let’s hope the campaign’s so popular that Troy doesn’t have time to hit the field Sunday because he’s Tweeting so much (just kidding....or are we?).
