NEW PSA ALERT! Varsity Fanclub says: Feed the Need!

After the release of their smoking hot video for their new single “Future Love,” it’s no surprise that Varsity Fanclub fever is sweeping the nation. Girls across the country are waiting in anticipation for the release of their album (which drops January 13th), and meanwhile they’re practicing their Varsity dance steps to impress the boys.

We love how the band keeps the message of helping others close to their heart. Listen to the boys above as they put out a call for the DoSomething.org Feed the Need campaign!

We’re thrilled that the California natives are spending this Thanksgiving in the big apple, performing live today at the Macy’s Day Parade aboard the U.S. Postal Service float. We caught up with the guys to find out what they’re most thankful for this holiday season. Check it out below.
And for an extra treat after your pumpkin pie, def watch the “Future Love” video!!

CGG: What are you most thankful for this year?

David: I am most thankful for the opportunity to be doing what I'm doing, and hopefully have the chance to use our talents and give back.

Jayk:My family and amazing job in this band...I'm at such a happy place right now..Jan. 13th baby!

Drew: I am thankful for having the greatest supportive and loving family in the world. I am thankful to be in the position I am in. The past two years have been insane. Dreams do come true. I am thankful for having such an awesome team behind me and my group. I am a lucky kid.

Bobby: I'm most thankful for my health, great friends and loving family who are always there for me. I'm also thankful to be able to do what I love, performing and having such amazing fans!!!

CGG: As you know, Do Something is collecting food for the needy for the Feed the Need campaign through Dec 15. Why is it important to think about those less fortunate during this holiday season?

David: It shouldn't be just the holiday season.... We should always think about the less fortunate. In life you should always be a giver. Do unto others as you would have done to you.

Jayk:: It's always important. I love to give and put a smile on someone's face. Everyone needs a little help sometimes and I look forward to doing my part.

Drew: You should always help out people less fortunate than you cos who is to say that you won't be in the same position one day. Hopefully there is someone to help you out when you're down. Helping people is the best feeling in the world so I feel everyone should experience it. Give a little and love a lot =).

Bobby: It's important because we are very lucky to have the opportunities that we get. And it really makes me happy to help out others or just bring a smile to their face because I do know how lucky I am and I'm very thankful!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
