It's no secret that Heros star Hayden Panettiere is a friend to the animals. But really, she can't get them out of her mind. Hayden is always on the lookout for their well-being. While shooting the cover for the current Teen Vogue issue in Malibu, Hayden saw a sea lion on the beach and called ASPCA and 911 to make sure that it wasn't hurt. They assured her everything was normal, and after a few minutes, the animal went back to sea.

I think its so fantastic that Hayden is able to set such a great example for all her idols. Even though shes very busy as a star, she cares a lot about the community and animal welfare. Personally, one of my causes is animal welfare and its so great Hayden is helping! Its so important to be involved and i am so happy Hayden called 911 and ASPCA. Everyones help really contributes to a better community!

Finally someone uses their power for good. It's difficult for someone to make a difference when no one listens, but people have a certain piety for celebrities and famous stars should in return take advantage of that respect. Good going Hayden. ;)
