Last October Hayden Panettiere was in Japan getting arrested. Don’t worry, it was for a good cause – Hayden is passionate about putting an end to the slaughter of whales and paddled out to the whaling boats in Taji, Japan to protest. In Taji, whale slaughter season starts in October and continues for six months.
Luckily, Hayden is trying out a different tactic this year, teaming up with The Whaleman Foundation and SocialVibe.com to collect 1,000,000 signatures to end commercial whaling. By joining the Whaleman Foundation, through SocialVibe, on your Facebook or Myspace, you can help raise money for cause. Sounds like a pretty easy way to put a stop to the slaughter of whales!
