Hillary Duff rethinks "That's so gay"
Watch out! Hillary Duff is the new head of the P.C. police! Have you ever said "That's so gay," about something you don't like? Well you might want to think before you speak, in case Hillary overhears you.
Look at it this way, instead of everyone saying "That's so gay," what if they said, "That's so white girl," or "That's so curly hair." It doesn't make sense and could easily offend.
Which is why Hillary is the latest celeb to team up with the ThinkB4YouSpeak.com campaign, to raise awareness about the prevalence and consequence of anti-LGBT behavior in our schools. Other celebs to join this effort include actress and comedian Wanda Sykes.

It's kidn of hard when our whole culture uses such politically incorrect language so often during our everyday life. I wonder how she plans to implement this campaign.
i think just being socially aware about this issue could be effective enough, though...
we need to realize the implications of what we're really saying! i think hillary is telling us all to just be more mindful, that's all...

Good for her. I feel the same way..."That's so gay" is totally insulting to gay people. What if everyone said, "That's so black," or "That's so fat girl"? People would be outraged. Just don't say it.
