Celebs take the plunge to save H20

Today is March 22… you know what that means! It’s World Water Day! A party on Sunset Boulevard is brewing in honor of the day...

Familiar faces from Hollywood will join E! personality Jason Kennedy as he hosts "A Night of Generosity," among them Catt Sadler, Danielle Panabaker, Grey’s Anatomy’s Chyler Leigh, MTV’s Quddus, AI-alum Elliot Yamin, and more. All the proceeds from the event will benefit its host organization, Generosity Water, to help fund clean water projects in developing nations.

About 1 billion people worldwide don’t have access to clean drinking water, an unfortunate fact that leads to further problems in health, education, productivity, and the well-being of children. The more people stay informed about the situation, the farther we will get in the goal to fight the global water crisis.

The UN General Assembly designated the first World Water Day on March 22, 1993. Happy 17th birthday to World Water Day! To celebrate, you can help champion the mission to raise awareness about sustaining healthy environment, well-being, and optimum water quality. Thirsty to make a change?
