When you think of Hollywood actors, braniac is not always the first word that comes to mind. Hollywood poolside reading is not OK and Star. These stars are proving that you can be smart and still be sexy and successful.

Star Wars siren, Natalie Portman, finished high school with a 4.0 GPA, and skipped the premiere of “Star Wars Episode I” to study for final exams. She has said “I’d rather be smart than be a movie star.” She attended Harvard University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, before pursuing graduate studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2004. She even speaks Hebrew, French, and Japanese fluently.

Sizzling Kate Beckinsale attended Oxford University, where studied Russian and French “to be able to read books in their original language,” Beckinsale said before joking that now “I only speak Russian with the woman who gives me a bikini wax. See what Hollywood does to you?”

Claire Danes attended Yale University for two years before focusing on her acting career, Julia Stiles went to Columbia, and Matt Damon can also call himself an Ivy-leaguer, attending Harvard before more seriously pursuing acting. “A Beautiful Mind” and “Blood Diamond” actress Jennifer Connelly attended Yale for two years before transferring to Stanford to complete her degree. She’s fluent in French and Italian.

Even Borat’s funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen attended Cambridge University in England, where his classmates surprisingly say he was quiet and studious. Be careful of the quiet boy in the back of the class. He may come back to spoof you!
