Hollywood's Biggest Givers

via People

Oprah Winfrey trumps them all! Parade Magazine just released a list of the 30 most generous celebrities, and guess who topped the list but Mommah Winfrey herself with a whopping $50.2 million donated in 2007. Her money was given through The Oprah Winfrey Foundation and Oprah's Angel Network for education, health care, and women's/children's rights.

Also among the chart's top five are Barbara Streisand with $11 million (The Streisand Foundation: environment, women's rights, civil rights, AIDS research), Paul Newman with $10 million (Scholarship for Kenyon College), and Mel Gibson with $9.9 million (Holy Family Church). And you can't forget philanthropic pair Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who ranked sixth with $8.4 million (The Jolie-Pitt Foundation: Hurrican Katrina reconstruction, refugee aid, cross-cultural understanding).

"Some stars set a bad example from time to time, so it's nice to celebrate those who are doing good work," Parade editor Janice Kaplan said, according to Us Magazine. "We can't all give $50 million like Oprah, but she makes us understand that giving back matters."

Other celebs who made the top 30 include Lance Armstrong, Michael Jordin, Rosie O'Donnell, Jerry Seinfield, Hugh Hefner, Tiger Woods, Andre Agassi, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Adam Sandler, Steven Spielberg , and Denzel Washington.

Who are your fave superstar donors?? Let us know after the jump!

I know Usher gives a LOT too!

I also saw on TV that George Michael gives more than most stars, but i doubt he'd beat Oprah.

Pretty surprising about Mel Gibson.

Who's Paul Newman?
