Humans' Bieber fevers spreads to animals

Justin Bieber found a new demographic of fans last week when he helped launch the Animals Can Make U Smile campaign. Cats and dogs can thank Bieber for working with PETA's program that encourages people to adopt animals from shelters as opposed to purchasing them at pet shops or from breeders.

“I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog who has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home” says Bieber.

Adopting from a local shelter is definitely the way to go. It’s cheaper, it saves countless animals from being euthanized, and the money you spend doesn’t contribute to puppy mills or dog breeding venues.
