Jennifer Garner is a texting enthusiast

This just in: Save the Children Artist Ambassador Jennifer Garner is encouraging texting. The actress was spotted in Washington D.C. last week promoting a newly launched petition as part of a Save the Children program. Did we say petition? We meant “text-ition” – a text petition!
By joining the text-ition and connecting with other youth advocates, kids can now easily show their support for the k2kUSA campaign, which empowers youth to advocate for a fair chance in life for every child in the U.S. As part of Save the Children's initiative, k2kUSA’s mission is to reverse the effects of childhood poverty- a problem that touches one in six children nationwide- through advocating early childhood education.
The k2kUSA Council includes additional celebs like Julianne Moore and Randy Jackson. Want to join them and add your name to the "Kids-to-Kids Text-ition?" Simply text “K2kUSA” to 542542 at no charge to get started. Plus, check out our tips on how to start your own petition to gather support around your favorite cause.
