One of the latest trends sweeping humanitarian Hollywood are TOMS Shoes. Stars like Bono, Benecio Del Toro, Brad Pitt, Keira Knightley, Toby Maguire, Kristen Stewart, Scarlett Johansson, and Liv Tyler have all been spotted in the Argentine inspired slip-ons. They love the shoes not only because they're stylish and super-comfy, but for every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS will buy a pair of shoes for a child in need.

Founder Blake Mycoskie created the TOMS brand after witnessing children in Argentina who were in desperate need of shoes. The brand signifys "tomorrow," focusing on hope in the future. His story is told in the documentary For Tomorrow, which screened at the Tribeca Film Festival this year.

Jessica Biel, a longtime fan of TOMS, recently held a party at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, where she decorated shoes with the kids. The party, made possible by her Make The Difference Network, brought gifts and cheer to the children to raise their holiday spirits.

TOMS, which has given over 70,000 pairs of shoes to children in need since it started in 2006, has an extra special holiday wish this season. They want to give 30,000 pairs of shoes to children in Ethiopia to prevent children from getting the debilitating foot disease Podoconiosis. Find out more in the video below!
