Cleary, it don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing when it comes to a few celebrity hotshots. Familiar faces such as funny guy Ray Romano, Darfur activist Don Cheadle, basketball legend Michael Jordan, Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo, nothin’ but Nets Jason Kidd, and twinkle toes (remember, he won Dancing with the Stars!)Emmit Smith hit the greens yesterday at the American Century Championship Gold Tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Some call it the Super Bowl of celebrity sports. Others say it's the BEST destination vacation event in the USA.

This week-long, star studded, event benefits the Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG Foundation. Now in its 10th year battling cancer, LAF has a LIVESTRONG merchandise trailer at the tourney and is expected to be a big hit. Proceeds from the merchandise sales, as well as donations, go directly to support the organization’s initiatives to help cancer survivors.

Golfing with friends, a little vacation, and catching a sight of Jessica Simpson cheering on Tony Romo, sounds like a pretty good week. The only thing better that--They’re doing it for a cause!
