Jimmy Fallon showed up in this spandex, solar powered get-up to Comic-Con. Yes, we are serious. The late night talk show host and friend of Do Something was trying to sell his own comic book idea at the famous comic book convention out in San Diego this weekend.

Jimmy even went so far as to pitch his story about the incredible “Recharger” to Jon Favreau—director of “Iron Man 2.” Jimmy's comic is about a guy who lives near a RadioShack that blows up causing a rechargeable battery to go into his heart. He then posses the "superpower" to recharge electronics (still pretty cool!) via solar energy. Needless to say, Jon Favreau was not so impressed. Amused, but not impressed.

We still like the idea Jimmy! While it may not have been his intention to promote solar power and renewable energy sources he definitely did show off the benefits. But solar panels are expensive and that suit looks ridiculous! You can still offset some energy this summer by taking Energy Secretary Steven Chu’s advice--paint your roof white. It only takes an afternoon and it will offset a ton of heat so you can stay cool this summer without blasting the AC.
