Joe Jonas turned 20-years-old on Saturday but his birthday celebrations were just not like most Hollywood stars. He didn’t ask for much, but he’s been giving back a ton lately! With the release of the new “Send it On” video for Disney’s Friends For Change environmental initiative, this rocker may be too good for words…

But Joe is not just “sending it on,” he is taking off! This JoBro ran in the iWin 5K Race to support the Special Olympics in San Antonia, Texas this Thursday right before he performed in the JoBros’ sold out show. Fifteen lucky fans got to run with him at the front of the race but as you can see, this JoBro is in some serious good shape--they must have had trouble keeping up!

The event raised a ton of money for the Special Olympics Texas, thanks to Joe’s keen athletic ability. Joe raises money for his favorite cause through the Jonas Brother's very own Change for the Children Foundation

During the run, Joe and other participants wore teal ribbons in honor of the woman who founded the Special Olympics, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who passed away earlier this week. Her spirit was remembered and celebrated, as Special Olympics Texas athletes ran, walked and volunteered in the fun run.
