Jonas Brothers rock. . . onstage and off!

New JoBros PSA!

The Jonas Brothers are experimenting with a new kind of musical harmony this holiday season... but instead of using their voices, they're using bells!

That's because the JoBros have recently teamed up with The Salvation Army to create this brand-new PSA about how you can help give needy families a meaningful Christmas this year.

Here's what they have to say: We all know one of the typical scenes during Christmas-time (besides the tree and presents of course) is seeing that good ol' red kettle on the street with someone ringing a bell asking for donations. Now the Jonas Brothers are asking you to be a part of one of the most longstanding charity traditions by volunteering to ring that bell yourself!

Ever since 1891, people have been giving their time to ring the bell and support the red kettle which provides for the poverty-stricken. Today, The Salvation Army provides for more than four-and-a-half million people during the holiday season. Donations provide Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys to needy families, seniors and the homeless to keep the holiday spirit alive.

So what do you say? Will you join the JoBros and help ring bells this Christmas? If so, here's how you can get started!!

Caution! Jonas Brothers tearjerker!

Today is World Diabetes Day. If there's one celebrity who has been front and center for raising awareness about diabetes, it is Nick Jonas himself. Nick wrote the song, "A Little Bit Longer," about his experience struggling with the disease, and ultimately staying on top of it. He's been known to break down and cry while performing this song live, so don't say we didn't warn you! The song is beautiful!

And if that's not enough, Nick has recorded a PSA for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He says that he's one of three million Americans who have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. "If you have a diabetes, you're not alone," Nick says. Check out the inspiring video below.

If Nick has motivated you to help out, find out what you can do to raise awareness about diabetes.

We're 'green' with envy: Laura Bush hangs with Jonas Brothers!?

First Lady Laura Bush, wearing a savvy business suit, strolling in Texas amid patches of grass and twigs: normal.

First Lady Laura Bush strolling in Texas with the holy trinity, Jonas Brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin: sooooo not normal!

But it really happened, folks!

This fab foursome promoted the First Bloom conservation program by helping students to make seed balls from compost, clay, native grass seeds and water (talk about hands-on!) with the 150 young people who gathered at Dallas's Trinity River Audubon Center.

Mrs. Bush and the siblings Jonas also went on a hike in the Great Trinity Forest and learned to identify native plants and about the restoration of the area's native grass. The goal: to help the mostly city kids connect with Mother Nature and develop a deep commitment to conservation.

Gotta love those Bros -- they're constantly "doing something" to make a positive difference!

Looks like green is the new sports car. Happy birthday Kevin! xoxo CGG Hybrids are just one way to help the planet. There's so many more ways to go green.

Take a Walk in Nick Jonas' shoes

On Saturday November 8th, on NBC from 4:00-6:00 PM ET the Bayer Diabetes Care will be presenting a special episode of Kristi Yamaguchi's " The Friends and Family" skating alongside fellow Olympians, including Kristi Yamaguchi, Nancy Kerrigan, Jamie Sale, David Pelletier, Viktor Petrenko, and many more!! The stars will also be performing with their talented children, making it a true family special. But that's not all! This show is a must see, for performances from the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Jordin Pruitt. This is not the first time the sponsor, Bayer Diabetes Care, has worked with Nick Jonas, who has been diagnosed with diabetes. They're teaming up as part of the November National Diabetes month, to launch "Walk in Nick's Shoes" to aid children and their families who are struggling with diabetes. To help raise awareness, Nick designed a special dog tag (there is a medical alert version for kids with diabetes), with half of all sales going toward the Jonas Brothers Change for the Children Foundation for diabetes care and research.

Nick Jonas gets choked up at Carousel of Hope Ball

Jonas Brothers

via celebuzz.com

Celebrities showed up en masse this past Saturday for the 30th Anniversary of the Carousel of Hope Ball, which benefits the Barbara Davis Center for childhood diabetes.

Denzel Washington, Nicole Richie, Suzanne Somers, Teri Seymour, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Daisy Fuentes all walked the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to support the charity. Once inside, guests were treated to a special performance by the Jonas Brothers, with Nick Jonas singing "A Little Bit Longer."

Nick wrote the song about his personal experiences since being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes three years ago.

"On the day that I got diagnosed, I heard about this event," said Nick who mentioned fighting back tears as he performed the song on piano. "And I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of. To be here tonight to perform is a dream come true for us and for me, it's truly an honor."

Be sure to also brush up on some background info on diabetes as well.

Ain't no limits to the Jonas Brothers

via AOL Music

As many JoBros fans may know, Nick Jonas was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2005. One of the main things Nick was concerned about after his diagnosis was if he would still be able to make music; and from the day he was dealt the bad news, he told himself that he wasn't going to let this disease slow him down. And the good thing is, it’s not.

The trio’s foundation, Change for the Children, supports 5 different charities that were selected by the Jonas Brothers themselves. All the charities are targeted towards children and helping them achieve their dreams, but one of the main focuses is supporting children who have diabetes.

This section of their foundation, called D-Vision, is dedicated to funding for diabetes research and support. Nick, who is naturally very dedicated and passionate about this part of the foundation, says he loves sharing his story with other people who also have the disease and aims to help them get through it like he did.

The five charities that the boys selected to support are NothingButNets.net, American Diabetes Association, St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Summer Stars. Not only are the Jonas Brothers hoping that we will personally contribute to their causes, but they have agreed to match the first $10,000 being donated to each charity.

These boys sure do prove that nothing can keep them down!

Exclusive: Jonas Brothers on the Teen Choice Red Carpet

Yes, we met the Jonas Brothers on the Teen Choice red carpet. They even shook our hands. Then we sold our hands on EBay to some girl from Fresno for $15,000. Not really, but we probably could have.

Joe, Kevin and Nick talked to us about how family and supporting each other has driven them to give back and "Do Something." Everyone knows how much work Nick does around Diabetes awareness, but he also told us he's passionate about poverty issues affecting children - makes sense considering they played homeless kids like 4 times on Broadway. They even did a Teens For Jeans PSA for DS about the issue, if you want to check out some vintage Jonas.

"Rev Kev" was nearby the whole time but tragically the Bonus Jonas was nowhere to be seen. I guess our lives aren't complete after all...

How much do you love the sunglasses, btw?

Rocking out Jonas Style

via washingtonpost.com

You'd think that the fame, glory, money, girls, success and more would have gone to the Jonas Brothers' heads. These young sexy things have conquered so much already, but no, they've still got their heads on straight. What is wrong with these guys??? They're unreal, almost too good to be true.

Why you ask? The trio just recently rocked out at the Mudd and Z-100 "A Little Bit Longer" special in New York, a private show for fans of the brothers that suffer from cancer.

And what’s next for the brothers? A concert with fellow celebsgonegood Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato! The September 14th show in California will benefit City of Hope, a cancer research organization.

Miley is no stranger to the foundation. Last year, Disney donated $1 from every ticket that was sold during her "Best of Both Worlds" concert tour towards the organization. She successfully raised more than $1 million for the cause. Now it looks as though the Jonas Brothers and Demi are out to follow in the pop princess’s shoes.

Will this years concert be up to par with Cyrus's knockout night last year? Stay tuned to CGG for updates after the concert!

Video: Nick Jonas sings about his struggle

We've told you before about Nick Jonas' struggle with diabetes. And now, this teen heartthrob is championing for a cause, his cause.

The Jonas brother’s foundation, Change for the Children, is forming a partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care to help young people affected with diabetes and their families. The campaign's mission is to make life with diabetes more simple.

When Nick was 13, he was diagnosed with type one diabetes. Hoping to empower people, he has created a blog (nickssimplewins.com) where he will be sharing his personal experiences with diabetes. This site is also meant to connect people and create a community for people with this disease.

Check out the video of Nick singing, "A Little Bit Longer," which he wrote about his struggles with the disease.

Nick and Selena: young, hot, and innocent!

via Starpulse
Oh boy, another Disney Duo! Or is it? Curly-haired cutie, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, and Selena Gomez, rising starlet of Wizards of Waverly Place, are said to be dating.

The pair has been linked for sometime now and though reps are denying it, they’re really not trying to hide it. With Selena being Nick’s arm candy in Jonas Brothers’ video Burnin’ Up and rumors of her new song, Head First, said to be written about her beau, its pretty clear there’s something goin' on.

The only truth to the rumors thus far?

The two share in common, amongst many things, that they both wear promise rings in symbol of their chastity. Yes! Innocence still remains in 16 year old celebrities!

"That was something we bonded over," Gomez told People magazine.

Truth or not, CGG will keep you posted on the cute couple!

Joe Jonas sings Zootopia
CGG

"Our dad says, 'Live like you're at the bottom even if you're at the top,'" Joe Jonas tells TV Guide magazine.

CGG rocks Z100 New York's Zootopia!

Do Something was the official charity of the biggest concert of the year, Saturday's Z100 Zootopia stadium concert at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ. DS represented with a trio of booths at the awesome ZVillage pre-fest: one encouraging voter registration; another featuring reusable ECOBAGS with issue-related designs (CGG's fave: A chicken and chicks with the slogan I AM NOT A NUGGET); and a third allowing teens (along with stars like Ferras and Flyleaf!) to record their rants/raves on video for use on dosomething.org.

The all-day event drew a long list of today's hottest artists, also including Sara Bareilles, Miley Cyrus, Danity Kane, Gavin DeGraw, Donnie Klang, Jonas Brothers, Jesse McCartney, Metro Station, New Kids on the Block, OneRepublic, Katy Perry, Pushplay, and Simple Plan.

CGG is recovering from the hearing loss suffered caused by all of the explosive performances. (Literally! Miley's unexpected fireworks had us almost jumping into the arms of Gavin DeGraw in the Z VIP lounge! And then there was the girl who quite possibly might be the Jonas Bros' No. 1 fan, screaming her heart out for their entire set.

In fact, the day is probably best summed up by her emotions in the following pics:

NERVOUS...

Zootopia, z100, Jonas Brothers
CGG

JOYFUL...

Z100, Zootopia, Jonas Brothers
CGG

EUPHORIC!

z100, Zootopia, Jonas Brothers
CGG

After consecutively screaming for each of their hit songs, we turned around and she gave us a shrug of an apology. That's ok, girlfriend: Let it all out! (See Sara Bareilles' thoughts on the subject above.) And she kept on going.

Stay tuned to CGG over the next week as we post continuous coverage of the bands, countless in-concert and behind-the-scenes photos, and exclusive interviews with the artists, so many of which agree with CGG: It's not about whawt you wear, it's about what you do!

Special thanks to the rockstars at Z100 who made this possible: Zena, Tom, Sharon, Darren, Marc & Josefa, and our amazing ClearChannel video crew: Chris & Jonny.

Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas, Zootopia
CGG

We love the Jonas Brothers for their amazing work with their Change for the Children Foundation, which supports programs "that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed," according to their website. They've also worked to combat juvenile diabetes, which has touched the life of Nick. And the guys teamed up with Do Something to make a PSA to raise awareness about teen homelessness.

Still, nothing could have prepared us for their live show last night.

After graciously greeting an endless flow of VIPs of all ages with hugs (CGG included!), the superstar siblings opened Z100 New York's Zootopia with a heart-pumping, show-stopping set. Nick, Joe and Kevin took turns running from stage left to stage right and back again, creating a scream-filled frenzy at East Rutherford, NJ's Izod Arena that was downright deafening.

If you weren't there, have no fear: CGG braved the army of paps in the photo pit to make you feel like you were there. (Good thing there were medics standing by!)

hey back off joee is mine not yours he's does not luve you he's love me

here's the deal: love me some jobros, but they are just an opening act to my main man Usher

Ya kno.... the JoBros have campaigned 4 a lot of different organizations and it got me thinkin.... wat if there was jus 1 universal org. that donated 2 everything equally? There would still b the red buckets and stuff but every1 would get an evn amount of money. world hunger, diabetes, animal welfare, homelessness, cancer, everything! and we can live w/out the pressure of choosing wat 2 donate 2!

P.S. the point of this is 2 get ppl active bout these things, NOT 2 sit and argue bout who love which 1 the most, or how hot they r.

P.S.S. they r really hot but still not the point.

Jus an observation, nick only seems 2 be truly happy in pictures when he is campaigning for a cause. i think all the screaming fans get 2 him sometimes.

Yeah, i think it would get to me after a while... don't you think that even stars need a time out. Plus you can't save everyone, some issues are more important then others. Not that every cause isn't important, it's just that we are all differenet and different people have different charies. A diabetes charity might be more important to Nick because he knows what it's like.
