What was this American Idol up to Saturday night? Jordin Sparks went to prom! Well, it wasn’t her prom…it was the Cinderella Ball in Washington D.C. at the historic Willard InterContinental Hotel.

Jordin kicked off the 4th annual Cinderella Ball with a bang, performing her two hit songs “Tattoo,” and “One Step at a Time.” The Ball is a prom night specially designed for teens with both mental and physical disabilities. More than 400 students from across the country attended the event and got their groove on with the Idol.

The ball is sponsored by the House Inc., a nonprofit Virginia-based after-school program. Learn the truth about mental and physical disability and find out how you can fight for disability rights in your community. You can do things every day like speaking up when someone speaks negatively about people with disabilities.
