Justin Bieber is a Sour Patch Kid
via DisneyDreaming.com
The sweet and sour candy brand, Sour Patch Kids, is challenging Beliebers everywhere in a test of their dedication to the tween superstar. If one million copies of Justin Bieber’s current album, My World 2.0, are sold by Tuesday, May 4, Sour Patch Kids has agreed to donate $15,000 to one of his favorite charities. Pretty sweet deal!
If Justin’s album can reach platinum status by the deadline, the 15K will be awarded to Pencils of Promise, a nonprofit group that works with local communities in developing countries to build schools, create educational opportunities, and empower young girls. This year alone, the organization hopes to build seven more schools in Laos and Nicaragua.
Over 100 million primary school-age children around the world cannot go to school due to poverty in their communities. This Sour Patch-Bieber competition sounds like a sweet way to score funds for education! Get the facts on how poverty affects factors as fundamental as education, and join the movement to help a child today.
