This past Wednesday, Justin Timberlake took on top players in a golf tournament in Pebble Beach, CA. Well, top players Hollywood that is (no tiger woods sadly), though Professional players did come out as well.

Justin, Ray Romano, Kevin James, Michael Bolton, and George Lopez teed off for the 2009 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am; a charity golf tournament that raised about $6.1 million for a number of charities. Other players in the tournament were Luke Wilson, Peyton Manning, Bill Murray and Carson Daly.

The six-day sporting event dates back to the 1930s and back then the prize was only worth $500! But the tournament has made over $73 million to date. The prize money is all given to a charity of the winners choice which range from local soup kitchens and YMCAs to wildlife conservations.

Other than the celebrities and pro-golfers that turned up to play, thirty-three students came to help manage the event. They got to handle everything from inventory, signing off on time cards, ordering food, and making management decisions. But CGG thinks the job was well worth it to get to hang around JT.

These stars may not be up to par on the golf course, but they were fun to watch goof around. Ray Romano made fun of his partner JT, making puns off his songs like “I’m bringing sexy back.”

Despite there mediocre golf game, wouldn’t you have loved to see these boys getting their butts kicked by the all-stars of golf? Especially all decked out in their golf…ehem…style?
