Katharine McPhee feeds kids in Houston

The last stop on Feeding America’s Hunger-Free Summer Initiative was in Houston, TX and Katharine McPhee was leading the way.

The American Idol runner-up recently visited a community center in Houston, TX to feed children in need. Not only did she help serve food to the hungry children, she also taught them how to eat healthy and showed them how to express themselves in song. Katharine also performed for the kids, and had them write lyrics on the board.

Katharine tells Cambio.com,"17 million kids are hungry when school gets out for the summer, and Congra Foods, has generously given $10 million dollars to feed children for the next 5 years."
