Lady GaGa journeys to the rainforest

via Idolator.com

By now we all know that when Lady GaGa wants to do something, she goes all out for it… even if it means singing someone else’s song. And she’s not the only one! At the Rainforest Fund’s 21st Annual Benefit Concert, GaGa took to the Carnegie Hall stage with Elton John, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, and Kate Hudson. The singer known for her out of this world fashion even sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” And we promise, we won’t stop believin’… in these celebs gone good!

The plight of the Rainforest Fund is not only to preserve rainforests themselves, but also to fight for the rights of indigenous people who live in proximity. Sting and his wife, Trudie, who founded the fund together, have been committed to the cause for years, in the effort to stop deforestation in places like Brazil, whose rainforest alone provides more than 20% of the world’s oxygen.

The celebs are calling on YOU to make some noise about this issue—spread the word to your friends, family, and teachers, and get creative! For some ideas on how to get started, check out our tips on how you can have your own benefit concert or organize your own art show to raise awareness about the need to save our rainforests.
