LeBron James: The cartoon character?

You read that correctly. An announcement was made today of the launch of a new, animated web series called The LeBrons. The YouTube series will be a family entertainment show focused on communicating positive messages to the youth community.

A percentage of proceeds from The LeBrons will help purchase HP computers for Boys & Girls Clubs of America - an organization that LeBron James has continually supported.

So what does the 2010 MVP have to say about it all? James excitedly shared, "The LeBrons provides me with an opportunity to reach kids through entertaining and meaningful messages about how important it is to do well in school, respect their parents and friends, and be involved in the community. This is a great way to show youths of all ages how to be a good person, no matter what their circumstances are..."
