Leo Sets His Time on Going Green

via DETAILS

One of the greatest actors and activists of our time, Leonardo Dicaprio has done it again. The Titanic star recently paired up with Swiss Luxury watch company, Jaeger- LeCoultre for the “Time to Care” program. In case you didn’t know, Leo is a green-a-holic. He drives a hybrid, lives in a solar paneled home and has lobbied for access to clean water. Last year, the 33-year-old produced and narrated 11th Hour, a global warming documentary.

Not only does he make efforts to change the world, but he does it in style. Two luxury timepieces, retailing at $400,000, will be one-of-a kind and of an outstanding limited series of watches, as well as forking over 100% of its proceeds to the Leonardo Dicaprio Fund at the California Community Foundation. The watches will be exclusives at the new Jaeger LeCoultre boutiques that are opening later this year in Boca Raton and Beverly Hills.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Fund at the California Community Foundation has actively promoted awareness of environmental issues through participation with such organizations as Natural Resources Defense Council, Global Green USA, the International Fund For Animal Welfare, and National Geographic Kids, to name a few

Geez, He’s handsome, heroic, AND fashionable? We’re very jealous of Bar Rafaeli-extremely jealous.
