This past weekend, CGG invited all of our amazing youth readers to come out and join us at Do Something’s 2008 Youth Action Fair to get ya’ll excited about volunteering. And if that didn’t entice you enough to get out of bed early Saturday morning and check out our event, we had Lil Mama come help us out as well to get all our youth aged 18-25 registered to vote!

Well, CGG is pleased to inform you that our Youth Action Fair was a total hit—thanks to the help of Lil Mama—who caused somewhat of a frenzy with her presence among all the pre-teen school kids. Lil Mama rocked the house with her inspirational speech to the hundreds of youth supporters who attended the event. And the poems about voicing your vote she wrote herself and distributed to the entire crowd were quite the personalized hit as well.

But if that wasn’t enough to cause a real connection with her fans, Lil Mama also made her own effort to help out anyone that day who registered to vote; AND she distributed customized autographed school supplies to every single person in the massive line that wrapped around the hallways to meet her!
