LiLo joins the anti-Palin bandwagon

It’s no surprise that most celebs have rallied around their man Barack Obama, but the latest cause sweeping Hollywood seems to be uniting against Sarah Palin. Last week Matt Damon released a video rant against Palin, listing her beliefs that dinosaurs roamed the Earth 4000 years ago, her willingness to ban books, and her lack of experience as reasons to fear her getting any closer to the Whitehouse.

Then over the weekend came noted animal rights activist Pamela Anderson, of course, angry at Sarah Palin for draping animal skins all over her home and office. Palin is an avid hunter and photos of her next to a recently killed Caribou are all over the web. “I can’t stand her,” Pam blurted out to an E! reporter. “She can suck it!”

And you may have watched the opening for Michael Phelps SNL opener this Saturday, where Tina Fey parodied the Governor next to a bitter Amy Poehler playing Hillary Clinton. The spoof made light of the fact that Hillary had bitten and clawed her way for years to get to the Presidential spot where Palin is seemingly trying to breeze in overnight.

But the latest in celeb anti-endorsements shows just how this election is shaping to vocalize and politicize even the frothiest of young celebs. LiLo has cleaned up her act after hooking up with girlfriend Sam Ronson (current rumors suggest they’re engaged). She’s no longer the party girl or the addict, but is morphing into the businesswoman with more leaps into charity. She said to ELLE magazine that she is currently “in talks” about which charity will benefit from the profits of her new leggings line 6126, named for the birthday of her idol Marilyn Monroe.

And even now the young starlet, with the backing of her gf, is joining in the anti-Palin bandwagon. Linday’s been watching the news and what she’s seeing is not making her happy. "I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin,” she writes on her blog. “I couldn't be more supportive of a woman in office, but let's face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.” She continued, “Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?"

But LiLo isn’t just ranting. She has some advice for Palin to "focus on delivering some words and policy with stronger impact like Joe Biden," Obama’s VP candidate. And she even has some advice for parents, as teenage pregnancy becomes an even more important topic of this race: "I think that parents need to recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren't protecting themselves (birth control, condoms, etc.).”

What do you think about all the celeb buzz against Palin? Is it justified or should they let this woman be? Let us know after the jump!
