Malia Obama’s favorite topic

It’s practically a ritual. At least once a week, Malia Obama asks her father what he’s doing to help the tigers. The 11-year-old, whose favorite animal is indeed the striped feline, is concerned about what President Obama is doing to help save the endangered animal.

And so began a Q&A session between Michelle Obama and the guests she was entertaining—children of White House employees! The First Lady kept herself busy yesterday between celebrating Earth Day and “Take Your Child to Work Day,” as she shared Malia's passion of tigers and answered questions about the White House's Earth Day plans.

Malia’s younger sister Sasha chipped in to the festivities too, bringing home energy-efficient bulbs to install around the house.

Interested in taking action around one of these causes? Stay up to date on the status of endangered species, and green up your home by conserving energy. Between saving the tigers and saving the environment, it seems like the Obama girls are helping to keep their dad busy. Way to be proactive!
