With World Water Week coming to an end, CGG wants to remind you to be conscious of the global water crisis all year round! Mandy Moore shared the same sentiment earlier this week when she and environmentalist Alexandra Cousteau celebrated World Water Day on Capitol Hill.

The ladies participated in a Congressional briefing to advocate for more resources to provide for proper water sanitation and its subsequent effect on global health and development. To draw attention to the issue, they joined students from local schools in the world’s longest toilet queue!

Moore traveled to Sudan last year with the global health organization Population Services International (PSI), in what she expressed was an eye-opening trip: “Here on Capitol Hill, it's hard for us to imagine what it's like to face illness every time we're thirsty but it's a reality in Southern Sudan. It is an overwhelmingly tragic situation but the good news is we can do something about it."

What can you do? Appreciate the clean water we have. Here are some tips to maximize your conservation of water. Read more about how to take action for safe water.
