Matthew McConaughey loves kids. A lot! Even before the Hollywood hunk had 2 tots of his own, he started his own initiative to help inner-city children. Today, his efforts reach over 6,000 students through the J.K. Livin Foundation! Based upon McConaughey’s personal motto, the program works to improve high school students’ physical and mental health by practicing exercise, teamwork, and more.
Check out the video of McConaughey congratulating and celeb-rating teens who are taking action and giving back, as winners of Parade's 2010 All-America Service Team. He told the magazine of his inspiration by the youth generation in "attacking service with fervor."
