Everybody’s fave teen star is getting older and greener. Thanks to a little help from dad Billy Ray, Miley Cyrus has traded in her old set of wheels (her mom’s black Porsche that she was given on her 16th birthday) for a more eco-fabulous choice.

“I didn’t like it ‘cause it was bad for the environment, and it was too big,” Miley said before telling her website fans: “My dad surprised me last night with a black Prius.”

The Hannah Montana star says she likes her hybrid Prius better because it’s “adorable” and “good for the environment.”

The about-face comes after Miley, who turned 16 in November, announced last August that she'd wanted a big car to scare all the other cars away (that likely means you, paparazzi dudes!).

But good-bye gas-guzzler: Miley has gone and joined the Hollywood Prius club, a group whose famous membership is growing all the time.

Still, Miley's gonna make sure hers stands out from the crowd: “I’m gonna get Hello Kitty floor mats!”
