Turns out he was in the Big Apple… picking apples! Nick Cannon, joined by Raven Symone, teamed up with PepsiCo and Feeding America last week, in an event to help alleviate hunger. Nick was part of an effort that involved packing 40,000 pounds of fresh apples into bags to be distributed all around New York City, while Raven helped deliver 10,000 cases of Quaker Oats products to various food bank locations.
Hunger is a problem that is closer than you may think. Did you know that one in six Americans doesn’t have enough food to eat? Working to combat this statistic, Feeding America is a domestic hunger-relief charity that helps supply food to low-income individuals and families through its 200+ member food banks.
