One JoBro is in the nation’s capital for the week! Nick Jonas is rubbing elbows with President Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Nick is taking a break from the JoBros’ world tour and showing his political side.

Yesterday the charitable rock star got to meet the President and surprise a group of kids who live with diabetes like Nick. He is so into this cause and we love it—he even gives out guitar pics to young diabetic fans and has a line of dog tags for sale with proceeds benefiting diabetes research.

Today he got a personal tour of Capitol Hill from Nancy Pelosi. That should get him pumped up for tomorrow when he will testify at a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on government funding for diabetes research with other stars like Sugar Ray Leonard and Mary Tyler Moore.

Nick is working to spread the word about his condition-a condition that affects more than 250 million people worldwide and 500,000 children under the age of 15.
