Of all of this year's celebrity fundraisers, this one takes the cake. Kate Moss sold a kiss and Orlando Bloom showed up to...sing? The UK's finest turned up for a celebrity auction to benefit the Mummy Rocks Fundraiser for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London on Wednesday.
The evening was a big step in helping to raise the £50 million needed this year to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, buy vital equipment and fund pioneering research. The hospital specializes in care for children with extremely rare and terminal illnesses.
The evening raised over £50,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital and included an incredible celebrity auction. The auction featured some stellar items from exquisit diamonds to a meet and greet with Simon Cowell.
But the best item was definitely a kiss from Kate Moss which sold for a massive £5000. Pucker up Kate! When the bidding was not going as high as she had hoped, the infamous model offered to wear a police uniform for the embrace to help increase offers. We guess it worked!
The highlight of the night though was when Orlando Bloom suddenly climbed up on stage to join Mick Jones in singing The Clash’s hit ‘Should I Stay or Should I Go.’ The Brits sure know how to throw a crazy charity event.
