CelebsGoneGood: So can you tell me what you’ve been up to these days?

Peter Facinelli: Working on a Showtime series with Edie Falco called “Nurse Jackie.” I guess it will be released in the summer, we’re filming it now, and I’ll be here till February filming that.

CGG: And then Twilight again?

PF: Then back to New Moon to do the sequel of Twilight.

CGG: Are you doing anything to help out this holiday season?

PF: I don’t know, I’ve been so busy with work but I’d really like to find something. With a lot of agents and managers, I find that the best way to give is to give to people who don’t have, instead of give trinkets and stuff like that. So there is a place called WorldVision.Org where you can actually see where your money is going. So you can feed a family in a village for a week, or you could buy a bed for somebody, and you can give that as a gift in someone’s name. And it’s pretty cool because they know that that money went towards somebody getting a bed because of that gift. So I like doing that because sometimes you give to charities and you’re like, who knows where the money goes? But here you can vaccinate a whole village, and that’s a whole gift for somebody in their name.

CGG: Are there any causes that you feel particularly passionate about?

PF: The Red Cross my wife and I have been involved with a lot, WorldVision.Org, we try to lend our names to a lot of things. There are a lot of people in need so it gets difficult, but we try to lend our name when we can.

CGG: Are you doing anything to scale back because of the recession? Or do you have any tips for kids who are looking to scale back because of the recession?

PF: Yeah, we just went through all the kids stuff, and we had six bags of toys and stuff, and we just cleaned house and said, look we’re going to give all this stuff away because there’s way too much. And it was great because they helped go through the stuff, collect all their toys, and now we get to give that away to children who don’t have.

CGG: What are they getting for Christmas this year?

PF: I don’t know, I’ve been so busy. My wife’s in New York and she’s been doing most of the Christmas shopping, so she’s there doing most of it.

CGG: Do you have a Christmas list?

PF: I don’t. I feel like I’m very fortunate right now. I’ve had a wonderful year, I have a great family, there’s nothing I could possibly want more. So it’s really hard because my wife’s like, “What do you want for Christmas?” and I’m like, “Nothing. I’ve got it. I’ve got you, and I’ve got my kids, and I’ve got everything I need.”
