The singer is one of a team of celebs including Lo Bosworth, Nelly Furtado, and Vince Vaughn that supported Jumpstart’s Read for the Record 2009 campaign by reading the winning book selection to children. Well, now that 2010 is here, it’s time to choose a new book for the new year!

Founded in 1993, Jumpstart is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen the early childhood education experience, by bringing students and community volunteers together with preschool children in mentoring and tutoring programs.

Jumpstart is asking you to vote for the official 2010 campaign book. But that’s not all- for each time you vote, Read for the Record’s founding partner, the Pearson Foundation, has pledged to donate $1 to Jumpstart! Voting is easy with the click of a button, so hurry and support your selection before voting closes on February 28!
