"We need fathers to step up, to realize that their job does not end at conception; that what makes you a man is not the ability to have a child but the courage to raise one."
In an article in Parade magazine that came out yesterday, President Obama says he hasn’t been a perfect father. In the essay entitled "We Need Fathers To Step Up," Obama talks about how his own father’s absence in his childhood made him realize the importance of fatherhood.
What do you think of Obama’s words of advice to fathers of America? Do you think it’s a good message to send—to admit his own mistakes as a father? Tell us what you think—comment below!
