Jessica Simpson shared some of her experiences with CNN from her new show, The Price of Beauty, and how she triumphed over her own insecurities and the public’s fixation on her image.

The Price of Beauty is a look at Jessica’s worldwide beauty tour. Along with her best friends CaCee Cobbs and hairstylist-to-the-stars Ken Paves, she embarks on a journey around the globe to discover how different cultures define beauty, and the extraordinary lengths that women will go to in order to achieve it.
