Quote of the Day: Julia Roberts

“We’ve done a lot of these galas. And I’ve never stood up without my buddy Paul Newman. It seems so much easier to sing and dance and make a fool of yourself when he’s right next to you. He encourages fun, more than any person I’ve ever met."

Julia Roberts had fond memories to share of her friend Paul Newman at a gala in his name held Monday at the Lincoln Center in New York. The A-list event raised money to benefit Paul Newman’s “Hole in the Wall Camps”—a charity that benefits children with life-threatening medical conditions. The benevolent Paul Newman passed away last year but his many charity efforts continue to thrive. His camps are available for kids free of charge in all 50 states and in 39 countries around the world!

You can help kids with life-threatening medical conditions like Paul by helping out at your local hospital. You can cheer up sick kids by sending get-well cards to them or put on a night of entertainment for children in your local hospital.
