Radiohead's rockin' tribute
via songlinesmusic.com
The international rock stars of Radiohead just released a song to honor a World War I soldier who passed away last week. All of the proceeds from the song called “Harry Patch (In Memory Of)” will go to charity.
Harry Patch passed away on July 25 at age 111 and was the last known British World War I veteran. The proceeds from the song in his memory will go to “The Royal British Legion” which promotes the welfare of former military personnel and their dependents.
You can do like Radiohead and rock the war, peace, and politics cause! Help out our troops—there is so much you can do. Adopt a soldier and send them cards and care packages every month.
