Last week, Mary J. Blige was spotted at the Diane von Furstenberg store in NYC, paying the remainder of a shopper's bill when heard the customer was $400 short, according to the NYPost. Mary told her, "I know what it's like to want something and not be able to have it." Nice! We're going to be on the lookout for Mary when we go shopping for sure.

one time my friend was at a bike store after his bike had just gotten stolen. Turns out that Robin Williams was in the store and the next day he had bought him a brand new $1000 bike. I love when celebs do random acts of kindness!!!
way to go mjb. i'd like to know what that shopper was buying though and how they didn't know they were $400 short. and what a coincidence!! i just saw RV which starred robin williams. small world.
