Rihanna’s friends and fans have her back

Though Rihanna has not yet been seen in public since the alleged domestic violence dispute with Chris Brown on Sunday, it seems the world has opened its arms to her. It’s gotta be nice to have star friends like Kanye West and Jay-Z to offer support in times of need.

Kanye West, who has toured with Rihanna before, has been speaking out about the incident. “…I was completely devastated by the concept of what I heard," Kanye told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Tuesday, "She has the potential to be, you know, the greatest artist of all time and, in that sense, I feel like she is my baby sis, I would do any and everything to help her in any situation"

More star support came from fellow hip hop artist and good friend Jay-Z. While Kanye seemed to be pretty calm about the incident, Jay-Z, on the other hand, is rumored to be furious. A source recently told Us Weekly that Jay "hit the roof" when he heard about it.

Even Rihanna’s Myspace page is filled with words of support from adoring fans. “You deserve better,” says one fan. “Every1 is behind you girl! We wit you no matter what!” Another fan even offered Rihanna a vacation to her family’s resort in Hawaii.

One sweet fan offered some constructive advise: "You are such a great and strong woman ... Turn your hurt into a song that can inspire everyone to be strong and it will get you through whatever life throws at you." This seems like the best thing Rihanna can do in the long run to help other young women who are subject to this kind of abuse.

If you or anyone you know is a victim to this horrendous crime, speak up! Though this situation happened to a celeb, domestic violence is just as serious when it happens to any of us. "I feel like, just as a person, I don't care how famous she is or even if she just worked at McDonald's, that should never happen. It should never come to that, to that place," West said. We couldn’t agree more Kanye!
