Russell Crowe: real life Robin Hood

Russell Crowe stars as Robin Hood in the new version of the classic tale of "good doing." He is filming "Robin Hood" in the UK with Cate Blanchett who plays Maid Marian. But Russell was put to the test when a real life damsel in distress needed help--of course Russell came to the rescue.

The boom operator for the new film was driving to the set and got in an accident. Her car was completely destroyed and she ended up driving into work in a cheap replacement car. Crew members poked fun at her, including Russell. The woman immediately told Russell off—saying he would never have to worry about how he would pay for a new car. Russell immediately gave her the bills to buy her a new car.
