While covering the red carpet for Russell Simmons and Spike Lee's I Am C.H.A.N.G.E. (Conquering; Human Rights; Action; Needed; Global; Empowering, Evolving) event, CGG snagged an interview with the big man of the night himself, Mr. Simmons.
We asked Russell all about his thoughts on the Bradley effect, which suggests some white voters who have come out to support Obama may actually be too nervous to vote for an African American come election day. We also spoke to him about what kind of effect Colin Powell's endorsement for Obama really had on voters, and what he thinks is the most pressing human rights issue at the moment.

He's so well spoken and knows what he's talking about. Such a great mouth-piece for the hip hop generation ... And I love that although he's a vegan, he doesn't impose his lifestyle on others. I mean, I'm a meat eater but I try to always eat organic, free-range meat ... and I aim for one meat-less day a week.
As for Lil Kim, what did she do to her face? Jeez! She looks nothing like she did when she stepped into the game with Biggie. So sad!
