What did Zac Efron get in his stocking this past Christmas? Not a lump of coal, but a whole bunch of condoms! But he says his mother isn’t barking down his door about sex, just about safe sex.

The king of High School Musical who stars in his latest film 17 Again is actually 21-years-old. Kind of pushing the age limit on “the talk” eh, mom?

Zac says that after the scandalous press surrounding his relationship with co-worker and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, she did not get upset, she got creative.

The 21-year-old told Elle magazine that "She's like 'I knew you were being sexual'. But she understood. My stocking was full of condoms this Christmas. She buys me the economy box."

But after pictures that showed Zac and Vanessa in what appeared to be a sex shop, his mom was not so cool. Zac says they were looking for adult-size Halloween costumes but mom got serious.

"My mom is like 'Zac, what did you buy in a sex shop?' I was like 'Mom, calm down, it's not a sex shop'. She wouldn't have any of it."
