Watch out Vanessa Hudgens, ‘cause there’s a new talent in town that is just as gifted AND even charitable too!

Wizards of Waverly Place cutie Selena Gomez recently designed a celebrity t-shirt that was auctioned off at the first annual Latino education charity event called “Piensa Más Alla” in San Francisco on June 12th.

The event received an overwhelming response from the Latino celebrity community.  Other stars who can now add “T-shirt designer” to their resume for the Chucho and Palomita clothing lines included Zoë Saldana, Cristian de la Fuente, Paul Rodriguez, and Carlos Mencia.  And additional celebrity designers who showed up at the event included Cristian de la Fuente with his “Dancing with the Stars” partner Cheryl Burke and teen sensation Tyna Q.

But Selena’s designer skills didn’t just end there.  Currently, she is working with MisQuince Magazine to put out her celebrity T-shirt which is set to make its debut in
October 2008.  The t-shirts will be sold for the “Dream for 15” campaign that will benefit Chucho and Palomita’s education charity as well.
