Sir Paul McCartney signed his guitar amplifier, which was auctioned on Ebay UK to benefit the No Landmines Campaign. The former Beatles member has crusaded many celebrities in signing petitions to ban cluster munitions. The Vox amp sold for approximately $7,700. The proceeds will further McCartney's mission to support free communities throughout the world from the threat of unexploded weapons of war.

I LOVE THE BEATLES!!! In their prime they were social activists and revolutionists for many of today's peaceful movements. Paul McCartney once again astounds me by his support for peace and safety for innocent people around the world affected by war.
so cool. Beatles are the best band ever! glad to see he still helps the little people
i think it is particularly cool that he is still supporting this landmine stuff even though that ex-wife of his seems like a freak. despite her, he is still into the cause--that is awesome.
I mean his ex-wife goes to galas and yells at people because they don't listen to her. she has no idea how to relate to people.
he just keeps on giving. I can't imagine how he was ever paired up with her. keep up the good work Paul!
THE BEATLES ARE MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND!!!!!!! WAY TO GO, PAUL!!!!
