In the months after the Haitian earthquake, many celebs gone good have come together to support relief efforts. Demi Moore, Ben Stiller, Olivia Wilde, Gerard Butler, Sean Penn, and Susan Sarandon are all taking a hands-on approach to help while in Haiti this week.
On behalf of Penn’s Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization and Artists for Peace and Justice (Stiller is on the board of directors), the stars met with Save the Children, and are working to rebuild the Haitian education system and spend time with the vulnerable children who were displaced by the natural disaster.
Save the Children provides programs to train community workers to help sustain education and nourishment to children in the devastated area. Together, the charity groups and their celeb volunteers are dedicating their time to ensure that children grow up protected, safe, educated, and healthy. Check out how you can get involved in the relief efforts too, and help save the childhood of an earthquake victim today.
