While some celebs honor their newborn babies with silver-dipped rattles and diamond-adorned charms, Jessica Alba made her first priority to make her home and nursery eco-friendly for new daughter Honor Marie.
"It's kid-friendly, animal-friendly," the actress tells the latest issue of In Style magazine. "You can jump on the sofas, walk around barefoot. There's nothing off-limits here."
Just how did she renovate her home in sync with the environment? Jessica used nontoxic paints and recycled furniture to turn her house into an eco-paradise. An actress who recycles furniture? When Hollywood is known for discarding a dress after wearing once, we have to give mad props to Jessica here.
"The energy here is so inviting – it is open and playful," says Alba. "And everywhere you look, inside and out, you get to see a part of nature."
Find out ways to go green here.

Is that make-up she's wearing environment friendly? And non-toxic?
I hope so Jessica...I hope so...;)
Recycled furniture? All the furniture in my house comes from stuff I found on the street. I even found this awesome two-seat movie theater loveseat once. So cool. No need to buy new when so many people get rid of stuff. BTW, Jessica, I'll take any of your hand-me-downs anytime!
Oh my gosh! What CAN'T she do??
