The new 90210 premiered yesterday to a hot, hot, hot opening! Even hotter? How passionate its new cast members are! Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup know what it takes first-hand to be able to make a difference.

For starters, Jessica Stroup's upbringing allowed her from an early age to go overseas and help out the less fortunate. And Canadian Shenae Grimes said she felt the effects of global warming in her home town this past year, which prompted her passion for going green.

Now they are taking their personal experiences and acting out, which they discuss in their CGG interview at the Teen Choice Awards. One of the acts Jessica mentions is something surely every one of us does each day with our friends and family. But Jessica says this simple act of kindness is often overlooked and taken for granted.
