This weekend, Lance Armstrong and his famous friends celebrated the completion of his eighth Tour De France. Although Lance did not claim first once again, his performance was impressive and he placed third. He was satisfied with the results as his main motivation was not the yellow jersey, but raising cancer awareness.

While in Paris on Sunday, Lance did just that. He came out for the opening of a new art exhibition called “Stages”—a show that aims to raise global awareness about the disease and funds for his foundation. “Stages” includes everything from design to photography to street art with the overarching theme of the Tour De France and the color yellow. The opening was a star-studded event and both Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camila Alves were in attendance.

It may seem like the “LiveStrong” foundation ended with the rubber bracelets, but they continue to do a ton of work to raise funds for cancer research.
