Usher has another A-list appearance to make. He'll join five amazing young Do Something Award winners on stage to accept the first ever Celebs Gone Good Award! CGG has named Usher our Civic Leader of the Year.

He has so much going on, you may not even know how much time Usher gives back, so here's the deal: Usher has pushed the limits of celeb service with his very own New Look Foundation that works “to provide young people with a new look on life through education and real-world experiences.” Through the New Look camps in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, Usher's team works to mentor at-risk and disadvantaged young people and empower them through education and skill building opportunities.

We love Usher and everything he does, mentoring the youth of America and creating the leaders of tomorrow. Recently, he was inducted into the Boys and Girls of America (BGCA) 2009 Alumni Hall of Fame. He has traveled the country from event to event, even landing a spot before congress to discuss the issues that matter to him most: empowering generation S (generation of service-minded leaders)!
